Is there a question you’d really like to ask me?
I love questions. Questions can lead to some of the most interesting conversations, many of which might have never begun otherwise.
So, what would you love to know about SAB?
Earlier this month year, somebody on my email list reached out with an interesting question. They wanted to know what kind of project do I like the most.
I was only too happy to answer. Not only is it great to talk about what I do, but I also love knowing I’m potentially providing value to my client.
Just in case you’re interested, here was my reply
A website redesign project is my favourite kind of project. Design is subjective. So we help clients to see that they can have a better version of their brands. We’ll work on the existing website, spice up the design, and execute the development.
He was delighted and we went on to work together on a new project.
A simple question sparked a conversation that led to a great working relationship.
Now, this isn’t a pitch by the way. I’m not fishing for questions so I can spring a surprise website audit on you. I wanted to share what just one simple question can lead to.
The same works for you and your customers.
The great thing about a question is that you can ask one back. Conversation gives you invaluable insight into how you can help your customer. The extra added bonus is that you get to know them better too.
Not only do questions enable you to provide value to your customer, but they also help you to establish trust.
